品牌介紹

1963年，Beauty Without Cruelty由BWC Charitable Trust（動物保護組織）的管理者Katherine Long在英國創立而成，它的目標就是製造出不用經過動物測試的，不含油及任何動物成分的天然的彩妝，並且將其推廣到世界各地。

Katherine Long，是一位為動物福利事業奉獻一生的行動主義分子，是位化妝師也是素食主義者。她率先推動這個計畫並和Noel Gabriel一起創造出了完全不用動物測試的彩妝。在1969年Katherine去世後，Beauty Without Cruelty幾乎到了關門大吉的時刻，這時Lady Dowding，一位同樣為堅定動物福利的人，決定讓公司繼續下去並且它的目標也要繼續下去。Lady Dowding是一個熱心腸的人，曾經是慈善事業的領導者，是他使BWC繼續發展下去並且影響其他人。

1978年，經過不懈的努力之後，Lady Dowding聘請Joseph Piccioni作為BWC的管理者。Joseph有著豐富的從商經歷，同時也是動物權利的宣導者，他傾盡所有的才華使得BWC成為大不列顛最受歡迎的化妝品品牌之一。
