Glutathione為一種抗氧化物質,存在於身體的細胞中,藉由自身氧化以中和OH等自由基對脂肪酸或遺傳物質的傷害,並且可以藉葡萄糖產生的NADPH(由戊糖磷酸途徑)重新還原.
